Welcome to Essex Skeptics in the Pub!
We are a group of individuals that enjoy listening to interesting speakers, exploring new ideas and discussing a range of topics in a relaxed and social environment.
Each month (Sep-Jun) we host a speaker to talk on a specialist topic of their choice, from Homeopathy and quackery, genetics, history to Quantum physics heavy with metal, there’s something for everyone. Check out our events page to see our upcoming events for the 2022/23 season.
Events are free to attend, and the group is run on a not-for-profit basis, however there is a suggested donation of £5 per person to cover the travel costs of our speakers and running the group (such as promotion).
